The chaplains offer pastoral care to patients and families or carers with their spiritual, emotional, cultural and religious needs..

Chaplains seek to create an environment in which each person is valued and where hope, meaning in life and justice are fostered in a holistic, healing context.

They offer visitation and listening, sacramental ministry and linkages to religious communities.  In times of stress, bereavement or celebration chaplains can broaden the horizons of care offered.

The hospital chaplains can assist people to link to their own denomination.

There are chapels for quiet reflection located on:

• Anne Caudle Centre campus (to the rear of the cafeteria, picture below)
• The Bendigo Hospital campus on the ground floor, Hyett Block
