Are you interested in studying to become a Speech Pathologist?

The Bendigo Health speech pathology department supports colleagues and students through education and training. We provide clinical student education placements. All clinical placements are organised directly through the universities. Agreements with other universities can be arranged on request.

 

Undergraduates

Australian speech pathologists complete a four-year undergraduate degree, which includes academic and clinical training.

 

Graduates

In Victoria, La Trobe University currently offers a two year graduate entry program where students who have previously completed an undergraduate degree can undertake a two year Masters of Speech Pathology.

 

Work experience

 

Bendigo Health speech pathology provides work experience and clinical observation. Both high school students looking to learn more about speech pathology, and mature aged people interested in entering the field of speech pathology are welcome.
