Medihotel offers accommodation to eligible guests who are not ready to go home, still require access to hospital services, but do not necessarily need to stay in hospital. The Medihotel provides comfortable, hotel-style accommodation to selected guests before or after treatments, procedures and investigations in hospital. Patients stay as our 'guest'. 'Guests' are required to be self caring and self medicating. If they require extra

assistance, a carer may stay in the facility with them. Nursing staff are on site overnight and available during 8am to 9.30 pm. In some instances, nursing staff are contactable via phone.

Your medical and nursing team will assess your suitability for the Medihotel. They may suggest that you stay in the Medihotel before a procedure, or it may be an option before you go home. The service is based on international best practice, is free and operates seven days a week.
