Board of Directors:


The Board of Directors is appointed to oversee the management of Bendigo Health as a public health service under the Health Services Act 1988.

 

Board members are appointed for a term of up to three years by the Governor-in-Council on the recommendation of the Minister for Health. The Board Chair is currently Marika McMahon.

 

The board appoints the Chief Executive to manage the functions of the organisation.  The board meets monthly to receive financial reports, to monitor performance of the Group in regard to patient and client care and the Group's other functions, and to consider recommendations for future development of the organisation and its services.

Chief executive John Mulder manages Bendigo Health and reports to the Board of Directors.  He is supported by eight executive directors who oversee the running of five service streams and five support divisions.
